New Spirit on Milford Sound - $1 million refurbishment has customers in mind...
Bigger better views and more creature comforts are the order of the day aboard the Milford Sound Red Boat Cruises vessel formerly known as the Lady Stirling. The 26 metre steel catamaran has spent the winter months undergoing a $1 million bow to stern refurbishment.
To celebrate her refit, Milford Sound Red Boat Cruises has re-christened the catamaran the Spirit of Milford and she is now back in the familiar waters of Milford Sound ready for the coming peak summer season.
To ensure visitors make the most of the magnificent scenery large deck to ceiling windows have been installed which offer panoramic views of the Fiord. The passenger cabins now feature a modern décor and are spacious with better seating and a nicer food service area. Stairways are wider with improved access to the viewing area on the foredeck and even the toilets have been upgraded.
